Our desire is for the grounds of the church to be a place of 'Peace, Life and Community'

Peace
A pleasant and peaceful space, to sit, reflect; meeting with friends, family and God.

Life
We have given some space over to planting fruit and vegetables - growing food which is vital for life.  A group of volunteers from the church and community meet during the summer on Monday evenings, at 7pm to plant, tend and harvest.  

Our vision is 'seed to plate' - we seek to use what we grow.  In 2025 we used our potatoes to make macaroon and potatoe bread.

We seek to bless the community too, giving our produce away.

Community
This is not about experts or for competition - we seek to be a supportive community, where we 'give it a go' and encourage each other.

 

The space is also used by groups for outdoor play - seeking to bring community and life as we meet and have fun together.
