Giving

 

Everything we own and everything we have comes from God. So, when we give, we simply offer him a portion of all the abundance he has already given to us. Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God and it comes from a heart of worship that recognises that everything we give already belongs to him.

The support given to the church in this way is deeply appreciated and at MPC we seek to exercise wise stewardship.

There are a variety of ways in which you can support the church financially.

 

Standing Order

We encourage this as a means of regular giving and if you are interested in setting this up, please contact our Treasurer, Michelle, by email at treasurer@moodiesburn.church‬ for further information.

Gift Aid

If you pay tax, you may be able to help us further by completing a gift aid form. This allows us to claim back tax on your donation at no cost to you.  Please consider downloading, completing and returning to us one of the Gift Aid forms. Legacy

Making or updating a Will is an important job that we can often put off.  Although it’s a serious task, it helps us to focus our attention on the key priorities in our lives.  One of these priorities might be how you can continue to support the work of Moodiesburn Parish Church in the form of a legacy.

A legacy can be small or large – the gift you leave will always make a difference to your church. And because Moodiesburn Parish Church is a registered charity (SC049925), any legacy that you make could help reduce any inheritance tax due on your estate.
