Building Blocks

Each Sunday this year, we shall be thinking together about a question from the New City Catechism.

The New City Catechism, has the strap line '52 questions and answers for our hearts and minds'.  Over the course of the catechism we shall learn who God is, who we are, what God has provided for us, and how he calls us to live.    The catechism shall remind us of basic foundational truths, and shall stretch us in ways we may have not considered before.  We shall learn new things, and grow in our love for God.

The idea of a catechism to learn the answers, and I would encourage everyone to give that ago.  The catechism does have long and short answers... the short answers are designed for kids, but are a good starting point for us all to learn.   As we learn, the building blocks shall be laid, so that even if you don't understand it all now, the foundation is in place for years to come.

You can view the catechism online here, download the App from your app store, or speak to Mark to order a paper copy.

There are plenty of resources on the app and website to help you dig into each question and answer.  Each week, I'll blog about the answer too.
