Live your prayers

This morning we listened to the early church in prayer, after the release of Peter and John.  The story comes in Acts 4:23-31. After they pray an earthquake shakes the room they where meeting in.  They are filled with the Spirit.  They all speak the word of God boldly. I have never been in a prayer meeting when the earth has shock in response to our prayers.  Yet God has still heard; and he still answers.  If we believe that, then we must live it. When we pray for boldness to speak God word - we must live our prayer.  Speak boldly when we next have opportunity. When we pray for love for one another - we must live our prayer.  Love each other.  Share with each other.  Put hands, feet and heart into our prayer.  Make it live. When we pray for people to come to church this Christmas - we must live our prayer. Inviting folk to come with us this Christmas.  Bring them along. When we pray to become more like Jesus - we must live our prayer.   Stop doing the things he does not want us to do.  Spend time with him. Live your prayers this week.
