Refuge

Why do you seek refuge?

It's because of the storm. It is only when the wind is howling and the rain lashing down that a refuge proves it's worth!

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

Psalm 46:1-3

God proves his worth not by saving us from the storm, but by protecting us and providing for us in the midst of it.

Let's not doubt him or blame him because of the storm. Rather hide away in him, he shall prove his worth as we trust him, our refuge and strength.
