Sing and Praise His might!

A prayer based on Psalm 21

Lord God,

We rejoice in your strength. We praise you for the countless blessing you give to us. We are so grateful for the victory that you have won for us.

Your gifts give us so much joy. Cause us to find deeper joy in you.

Victorious King,

Let your Kingdom come. The enemy is defeated, yet he still has a grip on so many lives. Crush him and so release his grip. Awaken those who are dangerously ignoring you. May they see your glory, and so turn to you. Awaken them soon, Lord Jesus.

Generous King,

Give us our daily bread. Forgive us for thinking we can get along OK without you. For trusting in our wages or benefits rather than you. Help us always to look to you, as a child to their father. And so, as we trust in you, may we know that sure, stable foundation of your steadfast love towards us.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.
