We are an interconnected world - news travels faster than we can, as it shoots through the airwaves or down through the web.
Today's Psalm reminds us that we don't worship a family god, or one of the parish. He isn't limited to the west, but is worship by people all over the world.
Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns. ” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.
Psalm 96:7-10
As we consider the truth this Psalm declares, it opens up our minds to the greatness and wonder of our great God. It declares his holiness.
And it commands us to join in the praise.
We too, must 'Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength'
So don't just read and wonder - join in this world wide, eternal, declaration of praise!
