Dwelling Place

How many different words can you come up with for a house?

We can use many different words; yet whatever you call a house, it is best to be able to call it MY home. Essentially that is what we need - a house we call home. A place to dwell. A key to enter into the protection and shelter it provides us.

David knows this, when he describes God as MY dwelling place

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Psalm 91:1-2

The Psalm uses 4 different names, given to God. He is the Most High, Almighty, Lord and God. He is described as a refuge and fortress. He is a safe dwelling place.

The critical thing - he must be MY God, in whom I trust.

He is a great dwelling place - are you trusting him today?
