Good news for everyone!

Special offers displayed in big letters always come with small print. When you dig into that detail, the offer never turns out as good as it seemed! The good news that Jesus proclaims is different - it really is good news for everyone, as todays passage declares.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures and the paralyzed; and he healed them.Matthew 4:23-24

Two simple things to note:

• Jesus did not limit himself to one place. He knew this news was for all people, so he moved around and everywhere he went he proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom.

• Jesus was not stumped by any persons need. Whatever pain, sickness, disease or demon possession they where suffering from, he was able to heal them. He saves us. Body, mind and soul. That's good news.

There is no small print with the gospel.
