Here's a great reason to shout

I must admit, when I shout it isn't often for a good reason. Often I raise my voice to command attention or to issue instruction. Sometimes I raise my voice to vent my anger or frustration. Rarely do I raise my voice to tell of something good.

I need to repent, and learn to shout with joy.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn — shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Let the sea resound and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.

Psalm 98:4-7

When we see how great God is, we should raise our voice , shout with joy and declare his praise. Pick up an instrument and join in the songs of all creation. Let your tune, harmonize with the song of heaven, declaring the glory of God.

This is the best reason to shout. The deepest reason for praise, and one which I must join in with.

Who will you declare God's greatness before today?
