Sacred space

Our theology of 'sacred space' has been challenged through lockdown, as we have been unable to enter a church building, instead our worship has taken place in living rooms, gardens and around kitchen tables.
Our Psalm today begins with the sense that we can praise God anywhere. Indeed, everyone, everywhere should join in this song of praise. It then moves to tell us where our praise is truly located.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100
The Lord deserves the praise of all the earth. All of creation should join in worship to him. In that sense every space is sacred space. There is nowhere where we cannot met with God. There is nowhere where he is not.
As the Psalm goes one, it reveals that when we praise God, we do not remain where we are. We enter through his gates. We meet him in his courts. We are raised to heaven.
Do we need any more encouragement to make praise and priority in our lives? What greater reason do we have to ensure that we set apart that time to join in corporate worship, albeit virtually during this season?
